slow and steady wins the race

I put this aside for a bit but I picked it up again and i'm loving it :)
Looking at everyone's ripples has definitely helped me pick this up again. All the ripples are gorgeous!
I feel like the blanket is taking forever, though. I have maybe 2 feet out of about 7 :( But I'm going to keep at it because one day I want to have a ripple as beautiful as all the other ones that are posted here :)
Oh, and I just discovered the Flickr group for this. :P

Finally updated...inching along

Although I have doubled my rows from last time I still feel like I'm just creeping along very slowly. I'm also running out of color options so i'm hoping to go yarn-shoping tom. (yay!) Here it is in all its glorious 14 rows(which comes out to be 3109 dc stiches lol)

Ripple, ripple, ripple, ripple, ripple, ripple, ripple...

I started my ripple blanket yesterday! I'm using my many random skeins of caron simply soft. The colors are a little odd but I want it to be a very eye-catching blanket. It's a little over 5 feet wide and is currently 7 rows long. Ripple is a lot more addictive than I thought it would be (I was afraid it would just be mind-numbing crochet).
