I am far from finished and my hooks are never still between this and other projects. But I am gaining on it and just wanted to show the progress so far.
This is really pretty, I think it's one of the prettiest ripple patterns I've seen! I'm trying to pick a pattern to use and looked for "Granny Ripple" and found this -- http://www.citiusa.com/grannyripple.html
The picture isn't so great, so I couldn't really tell what it was going to give me. Should I use that pattern if I want to make something similar?
It's a yarn thing. It's a crochet thing. It's sometimes a knit thing too. It's a getting back to the basics thing. It's the discovery of a mindless, escapist, reassuringly repetitive thing. It's a reveling in tradition, let it sooth your soul thing.

This is beautiful! It's so bright and cheery, it brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing (and the smile)!
Oh... its lookin so good!
That is really cool--it looks like candy!
Did you make the handle of your crochet hook?
No, I did not make the handle. It was a set of hooks my sister bought for me a couple of years ago. I think from Ebay.

Iris, I have seen that pattern before but have never worked it but I am sure it is quite similar.
Very pretty.
I wanted to ask a question via email, but the link comes up with an invalid address.
I was wanting to join this blog please :)
