a ripple-y start

Yay! I started my first Ripple afghan. I've looked through all of your beautiful photos and I am very excited to start one of my own. I had a hard time choosing colors that my son would like but finally found some that he would be happy with.

I'm pleased with the progress and found the pattern easy to follow.
I will post pictures of my progress and will enjoy looking at all the other photos that are posted.

Oh my, I love, love, love those colors!! Very pretty, in a masculine sort of way. They look very nice together, can't wait to see more rows later on!

I've made lots of items out of the new Red Heart Super Soft yarn. I really like how it works up. Great color combo!

Love those colors! And I love the Red Heart Soft yarn. That's what I used on my afghan as well.

Love the colours!
Before starting my ripple, I was knitting a blanket for my son with very similar colours, except I had thrown in some blue as well. Funny how these ripples take over and make us put other projects on the back burner :)

Nice. Looks soft and glowy. I haven't seen Red Heart Soft around - need to check that out.
