Woohoo! It's done. I'm out of yarn and not a minute too soon. I'm SO ready for a pretty ripple. (Well I have to admit - it's not nearly as ugly as I thought it would be...)

Now I'm ready to make some yarn choices. What yarn are you all using?
I'd love something soft but not too pricey.

Question: If you don't like this blanket, why did you finish it?
I like it, its kinda fun!
I love the Caron yarn.
I made it to get rid of my leftover yarn that was taking up space in my closet. I'm going to donate it to Project Linus.
I kinda like the colors too. That's the fun part. Even if the colors aren't all that nice when put together, they look really nice in an afghan.
i really love caron simply soft. great colors and lots of choices! very soft.
Actually, I think this is a pretty happy ending to your story! I can't offer advice on the yarn 'cause I blew my life savings on Rowan cotton glace for my own ripple...haha....no, really...
I used Red Heart Soft. It has a great feel and drape and a decent color selection.
Gee, thanks everyone!
