cotton classic ripple

Has any one seen or made a ripple using tahki cotton classic? I did a google search but all I found were people who were thinking about it. I'm wondering what hook size, pattern and how much yarn it would take ,as well as how long it took. It's pretty small guage wise. I think I use a 6 or 7 when I knit with it.

Just waiting as you are for some one to comment. I love Cotton Classic yarn. I would think an "F" hook, perhaps?

Look at the label and convert the needle size over to hook size. :)

actually i would go bigger with the hook than specified by the yarn band. on yarndex (www.yarndex.com) it recommends that you use a US6 knitting needle which would be an F or G hook. i would go as high as an H hook. it would give you a nicer drapier fabric.

I agree with maryse about hook size and drape. With a larger hook, your stitches will showcase nicely too, especially in the Tahki Cotton. (and it will work up faster too. bonus!:)
