Hurricane Ripple
Haven't posted to this blog in a LONG time. I call this blanket the Hurrican Blanket because I did almost all of it while evacuated to my parents house during Hurricane Ike.
At first I didn't really like this blanket all that much. I had a "vision" for it and it didn't really work out the way I had planned. I originally planned to put this on my couch, but one cold night I took it into my bedroom and discovered that I love the way it looks in there.
I didn't plan for it to go with the duvet and shams, it was just a happy coincedence. In fact while I was making the ripple I had totally forgotten that I even had that duvet set. We had recently moved and it was still in a box.
So it's finally starting to really grow on me.
YAY!

This is fantastic! I love the colors you used.
Congrats on the finish!
Thanks! Sorry about posting this twice. While I was trying to post it kept telling me that it wasn't working. So I kept trying.
Stunning, stunning, stunning all the way!
This is a gorgeous afghan. LOVE the vibrant colors.
I love it!! The colours are almost exactly what I have been envisaging for my own bedroom. Congratulations. :)
Your ripple is gorgeous! Love the way that the colors merge together. Also, isn't it really fun when something you have worked so hard on starts to really "grow on you!"

I love it! Great job!
What a beautiful, striking, colorful statement that makes on your bed! Great job!
Good afternoon
Go now to your blog and I was delighted with the blanket. You can make a small desmontraĆ§Ć£o of how to get this work so that it is in effect in ZIG-ZAG?
I would be recognized if I provide this information.
Thanks
Thank you again everyone! I really am loving it more every day. And it's keeping me nice and warm during this strangely cold winter we're having so far in Houston. (It actually snowed tonight!)
It is gorgeous!
This is so beautiful...well done, Tam xo
What a gorgeous blanket and I love the fact that it has a history too. You're bound to have fond memories of your evacuation every time you look at the blanket.
