Haven't made a ripple in quite some time. Really like the colors in this one. Is it sc? Back stitch only or?? Trying to tell from the picture. I confess, I'm bad about following a pattern. I sorta figure out my size and go from there, but would like to know if this is a basic ripple, or something else.
Nice work! Sandy popped over from Homespun Helpers where I'm trying to get acquainted.
Do you have a favorite ripple book you use?
I have American School of Needlework, The Ultimate Ripple Afghan Book, and Leisure ARts 40 favorite ripple afghans so am wondering if the one you made might be in there.

Sandy, it is 'soft waves' from 200 ripple stitch patterns. You can do with your eyes shut once you've set the pattern. Lucky, really - I usually get all confused if I have to count anything :)
Hey you!!! I'm so happy you stumbled over your "blankies" to find me. I've knitted and I've crocheted. I haven't had the time to read your blog because I'm trying to respond to so many comments, but will come back when time permits! I believe that is crochet? 50/50! Yup, I know, I did that zig~zaggy thing and never finished it. It's still in a bag in my closet. Can I send it to someone who will!? Oh, that's right, first I have to clean out the closet.
Thank you for visiting and thank you even more for loving my flowers!!!
It's a yarn thing. It's a crochet thing. It's sometimes a knit thing too. It's a getting back to the basics thing. It's the discovery of a mindless, escapist, reassuringly repetitive thing. It's a reveling in tradition, let it sooth your soul thing.
