This is a little baby ripple I was making as a gift for a friend. I used a 4 mm hook and 4ply yarn, and it took what felt like FOREVER to get finished. It is really lovely and lightweight though, while also being surprisingly warm, so I guess it was worth it. She doesn't know the sex of the baby, so I went for fairly neutral colours. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

Thanks for all your lovely comments!
Lindsey, it is Sirdar Snuggly dk, a mix of nylon and acrylic which is really soft and machine washable. I used a 4 mm hook.
It is a very lovely blanket. Exactly which ripple pattern did you use, and what Sirdar Snuggly colors are in it?
What a lovely! I want one made for me too! :0)
