Rippling Along Nicely

I almost have one repeat of the colors complete! I'm not sure if I like the fuchsia in it. I've decided to leave it in till I add the denim color row and see how it all meshes together. There are smidgens of fuchsia in the print colorway, but the solid look so much brighter. What do you all think of the fuchsia? Leave it or frog it?

Personally, I like the fuschia in it. It compliments the lime. But, it's your decision in the end. Looks nice and snuggly.

I like the fuschia too. It is one of my favorite colors. But like what was said before, it is ultimately up to you. Great ripple afghan!

I like the fuschia, but it IS a strong color and contrasts with the other colors, which are more similar to each other. It if bothers you now, it might keep on bothering you as you go along and take away from your rippling enjoyment. Go with your gut, and it seems like your gut is saying the fuschia is too much for your taste. Maybe making just a narrow stripe of fuschia would give the pattern a jolt of color without grabbing the eye so much. I love the mingly yarn alternating with the solids, gives it a cozy, soft look.

Leave (love) the fuschia.

I probably like your use of the fuschia the best. Gives it a little pizazz. With just the blue and green, it's more serene, which is nice, too. Either choice will be very pretty. Think about what mood you're going for. Probably another round of all your rows would really tell if you like it or not but that's too much work to waste. I agree with the others, though. It has to be your decison.

I totally dig the fushia... I think it brightens the whole blanket up! Really pretty :)

I love the fuschia too. I have worked on a few afghans where (seriously) I really didn't dig it until it was done, and that particular one got the most positive comments while I was working on it. But Pamc has a good too. It is hard to know - dang!

what yarn are you using?

Thank you all for the positive comments. The blanket is not for me which is why I wanted others opinions about the fuschia. I think I am going to leave it in.

I'm using Lion Brand Suede for the blanket.

Love the fuschia! I think it really looks great with the other colors, especially the multi.

I love the fuchsia. And I wish some day I'll make a suede blanket just for me (should be expensive, though)... It looks so cozy!
