i dont know if anyone is allowed. but i figured i would ask. Right now i can't afford to buy any of the cool books with the gentle waves patterns. thats what i want to start on. I looked in the library and must always be out. i even checked 4 other nearby libraries. i'm so bummed. So if anyone has a chance could you email me the basics for a nice easy waves patterns.

I wonder why we don't have some helpful "patterns" links in the sidebar, even if they're not free. For instance, when I first joined and was about to start a ripple blnaket, I would have gladly paid a few dollars for a text/pdf version of Jan Eaton's pattern. Having a list or something would help us all save time, at least.
I found a soft wave ripple pattern on line (free). There is no picture but just by reading the directions it seems very easy. Here it is:

Sorry, the end of the website address is: .html
we can't give you the patterns out of any of the books. As that is against copyright.
You can google for patterns and I'm sure you can find something that is free and close to the waves pattern.
If you want a wave pattern that looks like the ones on here. Google Susan B's Easy Ripple Afghan. That is just like Soft waves. I used that for my first ripple, before I bought the book.
