Are any other ripplers crocheting only 1 row per color? It didn't even occur to me to do 2 rows. I suppose that's why my blanket came up short when I thought I should have been done. Ugh, if I wasn't so far I'd consider frogging...
I know what you mean because I'm doing 3 rows of each color. That just means I'll have less color variety than I want, like black or red might only be in there four times instead of six or seven. Doh.
You are MUCH braver than I. I haven't done one color per row because I thought it would be trickier to carry each color over. OR are you cutting the yarn after each row?
I have my WIP on my blog....only two colors, but I like it.
It's a yarn thing. It's a crochet thing. It's sometimes a knit thing too. It's a getting back to the basics thing. It's the discovery of a mindless, escapist, reassuringly repetitive thing. It's a reveling in tradition, let it sooth your soul thing.

Yep, I'm doing 1 color per row...I didn't consider doing two rows either...and now I like it because the colors blend more in smaller doses, I think!
Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one. I like your thinking Tara.
I am cutting the yarn at each row & crocheting the next row over the loose ends.
