Hello everyone, here is my first ripple so far! I've just started on the blue row. I'm using the soft waves pattern, which took me quite a while to figure out as I was decreasing into one chain, don't ask me why I thought that!!!
Hello everyone, here is my first ripple so far! I've just started on the blue row. I'm using the soft waves pattern, which took me quite a while to figure out as I was decreasing into one chain, don't ask me why I thought that!!! Thanks to everyone who has posted on this blog I've been drooling over the lovely ripples thinking I wish I could do that for so long, until finally I asked for the books for Christmas and just jumped right in, I'm glad I did!
I'm using Rowan Pure Wool in quite a few colours but all the same sort of tone, if that makes sense, and I chained 423 to fit on our kingsize bed. I'll post more photos here and on my blog (http://joshyandbelle.blogspot.com) as I do more.
Thanks everyone for inspiring me, Felicity xx

Oh, this looks lovely! You are on the right way to become an ripple-girl! I am anxious to see how this ripple will grow...
I really love the color selection and will be keeping an eye out for progress reports.
thanks so much!, I'm just starting a new colour row today, it takes me about three days to do one colour! (I have got a three year old though!!)

Ooh! Love the colors--keep on ripplin'!

How many balls of wool do you expect to use?
i think its going to take about 60 balls, as i roughly measured that i would need 120 stripes, and one ball does just over two stripes! Ive not brought all the wool in one go!!!
love the colors!
