First Ripple
This blanket was based on a scarf that I meant to make. The entire project took me about nine or ten months, I think. I had lots of other projects going at the same time, so it dragged for a while.
Yarn: Ella Rae Classic
Pattern: Chevron blanket from Vintage Crochet
Notes: Chained 144. Next time I will go bigger! This would have been a nice size for a baby, I think. Luckily, I have a small dog who is willing to put the blanket to good use, but my kids are definitely too big to use it for TV time.

Really lovely colors, I wish I could get my head round the pattern. I might some day ;-)
Thanks! I thought the pattern was a little difficult, too. I'm working on another ripple right now with a more basic pattern, and I'm having more fun.
I just adore the colors in this! BRAVO! Also, is this the soft waves pattern by Jan Eaton? Looks like it is. That is the best ripple pattern to make as it's just so soothing!
Congrats!!
I'm glad you like it! This is actually the Chevron Blanket pattern from the book Vintage Crochet (by Susan Cropper). I've heard soft waves is similar.
Absolutely gorgeous!
