Works in Progress Easy Ripple

I am a new member of this blog site and wanted to share the ripple afghan I am making. I have visited and left notes many times but never took the time to join the members list.

I am using scraps, a "J" hook and the easy pattern found at Easy Ripple Afghan to make this scrap afghan.

I really love rippling and have two books with stitch patterns but as a person who loves to crochet there are always a zillion and one projects I want to do. Therefore it seems that ripple always get thrown to the back burner.

It has been a really long time since I have worked a ripple and I like the way this one is coming out. It is not finished yet as it is a scrap afghan so I had to wait to get more scraps. I do have a small bunch of balls building back up so I will get back to it soon. Then of course there are all those Christmas gifts to make. Anyone else have the same problem at this time of year?

Welcome to the group. Love the greens/purples - both my favorite colors and they look great next to each other. Very nice work!

Beautiful ghan. Scrap ghans are always so colorful. It seems to make it all the prettier to have the different colors blending together and drawing one to another.

Thank you vanessa. I like those colors also. Sage and lavender are so lovely together.

Sandie, Hi! did not know you were here too. I am sure I will run into a lot of people I know here. Thanks for the Kudos.

Lovely work! I have a soft spot for scrap projects that make use of smaller amounts.

Yes, I have loads to do gift wise this time of year, too. I am currently working on 2 baby gifts and then I have to start on an afghan for my niece (probably a ripple) and then finish making socks for me. I have a Morton's neuroma and need really loose socks, so I am learning to make them. So, I am not being entirely selfish ;-)

I am so glad you decided to join the pool of ripplers. It is so much more fun when you can post your projects.

Love your multi-color ripple!
