Noah's Ark

Here's my new ripple. I'm still working on the one for my daughter. But several people in my life are having babies, so I need to come up with some baby blankets quickly. This pattern was too cute to pass up.

I've substituted the cotton recommended for Caron Simply Soft. I couldn't get the cotton at my local Wal-Mart and I didn't want to go to the nearest LYS or Hobby Lobby. That's an hour away. But I think the substitution will work just fine.

Too cute, don't you think?

I'll post pictures when I'm a little further along.

Oh my gosh! That's adorable! Is it a current issue? I'd love to go get the magazine. I bet whoever gets that from you as a gift will absolutely love it!

It sure is a current issue. Run to your local store and grab one! I'm not sure which of the three babies (my new nephew or one of two pregnant co-workers) will get it. As of right now, I'm over half done with the water. It's going really quickly since the rows are so short. It's only 29 inches square. That's my only complaint.
