My Grandson's Ripple

Here's a picture of my progress thus far and I'm about halfway through making this ripple for our newborn grandson (our first), born this past Friday, the 25th of January. I know, I know, I should have had it finished in time for the big event, but in all fairness, my daughter did deliver a week early and that's about how long it will take me to finish. I definitely called this too close but had so much knitting and crocheting to complete for the holidays and......... that's my story and I"m stickin' to it, LOL.

I'm using Jaeger Baby Merino in a blue multi color and I doubled the yarn using a size J crochet hook, and the pattern is from 200 Ripple Stitches, called 'Ribby'. I like the way it's working up this way and it'll be nice and toasty without being weighty. It'll measure somewhere around 25"x40" when completed. I hope you all like it and I look forward to your comments.

Cheers, Laura
