This is my first post to the group, but not my first ripple afghan! I've been making ripples since the mid-1970's! I make a lot of Prayer Shawls and then have a lot of scraps left over. Ripple afghans are a good way to use up these "odd-balls" of yarn. I try to keep at least one afghan going at all times. I am using the Easy Ripple Pattern. It is a joy to work with.

I like it!! I love "scrappy" afghans, too. I just found out that my sister is expecting her first baby, and in addition to being thrilled for her, I'm happy to have a reason to use up my scrap basket of yarn in a super-colorful baby blanket. Yours is a great inspiration.
Very pretty. I love scrappy too.
