Even though I spent the past weekend at a quilting retreat and didn't do any crocheting there, you can see that I've made good progress on the afghan from Vanna's book. It works up fast due to the large hook (P) and using two strands of yarn.
ooooh pretty!! I saw the pattern for this at Hobby Lobby a few days ago and liked it. Didn't realize it had the two strands together, that makes it very nice!
I wanted to tell you that I left a note for you on the Quilter's Lounge about your plantar fasciitis/croc issue.
It's a yarn thing. It's a crochet thing. It's sometimes a knit thing too. It's a getting back to the basics thing. It's the discovery of a mindless, escapist, reassuringly repetitive thing. It's a reveling in tradition, let it sooth your soul thing.

Pretty!
I just love that "tweedy" look that using 2 strands of yarn together gives you! Nice work.
