Yarn spew.

I'm not sure of the correct term for the tangle of yarn ends you have left to darn in, but that's what I call it. Yarn spew. :-)
So, I am at the point (unbelievably) of sewing in my loose ends! I am going to be in serious shock when I have fastened off the last of them. I can't even think of starting anything else yet. I will need a moment just to breathe. Done. Done. DONE!
I guess I'd better not get ahead of myself, though. After all, I still do have a mess of yarn spew to clean up. ;-)

Deb, not to spoil your sewing fun (!), but you should try crocheting over the ends whenever you change colors, that way it's done as you go along, with no yarn spew at the end to deal with!! I think I'd go crazy with that much sewing in to do at the last step....:)

Thanks for the tip. ;-) Fortunately for me, it's a process I enjoy. It makes such a beautiful transformation to the afghan, and I love that. It's also nice on a cold winter's day (such as today, on this part of the planet) to sit under the blanket and tuck those ends away, one by one. Anyway, I started this morning and finished this evening, so it was only one day's work. Now my afghan is DONE. Tomorrow it shall have it's final photo-shoot. :-)

Yarn Spew works perfectly...

Weaving in ends actually makes me nauseous... I can only do it for hour bursts before I have to stop. I avoid it at all costs :)

We call it a "yarn barf."
