That would look really classic to me.

Really, though, with three colors already you don't need to add anything. This afghan is for a girl, and is definitely not girly, but she'll be able to use it for years to come, since they aren't 'baby' colors. Hope this helps!

Picture of the afghan is at Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/photos/29783262@N05/2887546669/Yamma Mammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07141818153101491706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668884398846525478.post-23212529449626868572008-11-03T14:27:00.000-06:002008-11-03T14:27:00.000-06:00I think that she chooses lovely collors! It may not go with her decor forever (Home fashion colors change just like clothing colors change. Ten years ago only the fashion forward or severely stunted would have had green or brown in their homes.) but she will love it now and probably use it forever. I have afghans knit by my aunts that are probably 20-25 years old. They have never matched anything in my house but we love them and use them regularly.margothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02664272411781317350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668884398846525478.post-61405696490011274832008-11-03T07:06:00.000-06:002008-11-03T07:06:00.000-06:00I'd add in a few neutrals - cream or lemon maybe? ...I'd add in a few neutrals - cream or lemon maybe? or even a Green? Our tastes change as we get older and not only that it will make it more special that you added a little of your own tastes to it. This will kind of bind you two in future years as she thinks back on this time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
