I love yours. It looks great so far. Thanks for the tweak in round 6. I'll have to try it. I currently have my original round ripple and now the new gentle wave going at the same time along with a pair of socks. What's one more project, huh? I'm having a great time though!MikKnitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11733921910852483627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668884398846525478.post-51368056536854372972007-03-19T21:46:00.000-05:002007-03-19T21:46:00.000-05:00Michelle thanks for figuring out the pattern. Thanks for the pattern...the pics of...Hey Michelle! Thanks for the pattern...the pics of my weekend progress will be up shortly. My allergies hit something wicked yesterday so spent most of the day happily rippling. When I'm done with this one I want to figure out how to make an asymmetrical one so it looks like a big puddle, or amoeba or such. Whee!

Yours is working up exactly as mine is, and our notes match too, though I made one small change to the pattern. In round 6, where you start the dc2tog, there was a pesky hole showing up since there are actually 3 stitches to work on both "valley" sides. You can actually see it in your picture. If you dc3tog in that round only it goes away. I think it's not so obvious on the other side of the valley because of how the stitch tops in crochet are kind of offset, so the 2nd 3 dc cluster in the previous chain space masks a stitch, but it shows on the other end of the valley.

Again, thanks for being the enabler, it was driving me insane, and the fact that I can't figure out how to make one with a solid "core" kind of still is...someday,right?

Love and hugs, the Ripple MistressDawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07055691577397026183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668884398846525478.post-68281668643704311962007-03-19T16:25:00.000-05:002007-03-19T16:25:00.000-05:00Thanks for the pattern. I see on your blog you are using the same yarn.Been knitting and spinning and just got back into crochet and the yarn seems to unply when I crochet alittle wondering if I should try to put more twist in it or leave it alone. I don't remember this happening years ago when I crocheted but I did'nt spin then.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668884398846525478.post-81929987737748618812007-03-19T16:23:00.000-05:002007-03-19T16:23:00.000-05:00Thanks for the pattern.
