Twin rainbow ripples

Both blankets together

I posted the bright rainbow ripple a few weeks ago, and now have finally finished the pastel version. These are for a friend of mine who had boy/girls twins last week (ok, so I'm a little late!). I wanted to give her a gift that would reflect the non identical, and yet twin, nature of her babies. I hope she loves them!

Those are really awesome, and I love the twin thought thing - same but different. I would love to learn how to do this. Is it really difficult?

They are so pretty! What a beautiful baby gift. What yarn did you use?

Thanks for all your lovely comments! Maggie, this was a really simple pattern - "fall hedgerows" from 200 ripple stitch patterns. I chose a quick and easy one because I knew I would have to make two blankets! Bella, I used acrylic dk weight (sorry, I'm not sure what you call this in the US), two stands held together and a 6mm hook.
